Advanced course in Cybersecurity: Design, Management and Ethics in systems protection

Goals

The main objectives of the module are:

  • Design secure information systems, understanding design methodologies that integrate cybersecurity measures from design.
  • Master risk analysis, identifying critical assets, potential threats and vulnerabilities, and applying effective mitigation strategies.
  • Develop skills in proactive and reactive management of security incidents, minimizing the impact and restoring normal operation.
  • Conduct cybersecurity audits, evaluating the effectiveness of existing security measures and proposing improvements.
  • Understand the legal and ethical aspects of cybersecurity, including relevant regulations and ethical considerations in decision making related to cybersecurity.

  • Basic knowledge of computer architecture
  • Basic knowledge of protocols
