3rd edition. Advanced Cybersecurity:
Design, Management and Ethics in System Protection (2024)
Objectives
The main objectives of the module are:
- To design secure information systems, understanding the design methodologies that integrate cybersecurity measures from the outset.
- Master risk analysis, identifying critical assets, potential threats and vulnerabilities, and applying effective mitigation strategies.
- Develop skills in proactive and reactive security incident management, minimising impact and restoring normal operation.
- Conduct cybersecurity audits, evaluating the effectiveness of existing security measures and proposing improvements.
- Understand the legal and ethical aspects of cybersecurity, including relevant regulations and ethical considerations in decision-making related to IT security.

- Basic knowledge of computer architecture
- Basic knowledge of protocols
- Programming knowledge
